             CENTENARY  LAUNCH  PARTY

REPORT  FROM  CARDONALD  RAINBOW  UNITS ABOUT THEIR PARTIES

We have had a few Rainbow parties this year but the most successful was our pyjama party at the end of the year. The girls loved the idea of coming to Rainbows wearing pj's. We play games like French Beans and Mrs Browns shopping bag. We have also been to Whale of a Time soft play in Shawlands and had a Beach party on one of the wettest, coldest, windiest nights of the year. That's what happens when 5 and 6 year olds are encouraged to plan parties!! Our next ones are Halloween and Tuesday's theme is a teddy bears picnic in the jungle and Thursday is a pyjama teddy bears picnic. I just LOVE the Pot of Gold book!!!

The chocolate fountain night has been one of the most exciting crazy nights we have had at Rainbows. We hadn't told the girls about the choc fountain or the fruit so when we brought in the fruit we had them guess what we were going to do. Most of the older girls guessed that we were going to make fruit kebabs so when the chocolate fountain was brought in there was squeals of excitement from them. The girls were to put any 3 items of fruit onto their skewer and then go dip it in the chocolate. The best bit was that they were allowed to do it themselves hence the mess. they had 3 turns and you couldn't get much more choc on their skewers in some cases!!! It was a fab night and we will definitely do it again some time!!!
