3rd Erskine Brownies:  The Big Fat Brownie Wedding

3rd Erskine Brownies have recently undertaken the Royal Wedding Badge.  We spent many weeks preparing for the big event - we even had a Hen Party. 

We made invitations and send them out to our mums.  We made favours for the table and buttonholes for each of our guests.  We were provided with a real wedding car from the local Funeral Parlour, Silver Rose and the local florist, Jolene's, gave us flowers for the bride and bridesmaids. 

The leaders spent the school holiday break making the wedding dress and tea aprons for the waitresses.

All of the Brownies took part by either being in the wedding party or by being a waitress.  We served our mums a three course meal of Melon with Strawberry Coulis, Quiche Salad with Baby New Potatoes and a Selection of Gateaux followed by Coffee with Mints and Tablet. 

All the Brownies (and their mums) had a great time as you can see from the photographs!
